Delivery Policy

Order Minimum & Delivery Fees To offer reliable, fresh Sunday deliveries across the Lexington area, we require a minimum order of $50 (before taxes and any discounts).

  • Orders $50 – $99.99: A flat $5 delivery fee applies.
  • Orders $100 or more: Free delivery!

This structure helps us cover safe, timely transport while rewarding larger orders with no fee. Fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on your cart subtotal.

Order Cutoff & Preparation Schedule We prepare all meals fresh each week on Sunday for delivery that same day. To ensure we can include your order in Sunday's preparation:

  • Place or modify orders by Friday at 6:00 PM ET.
  • Orders placed after Friday 6:00 PM will typically be processed for the following Sunday's delivery (we'll confirm via email if needed).
  • We send a Shopify notification when your order enters the "preparing" stage (usually Saturday or early Sunday).

Delivery Day & Timing

  • Deliveries occur on Sunday afternoons/evenings in the Lexington, KY area.
  • We begin our delivery route around 3:00 PM ET each Sunday.
  • Most deliveries are completed within 2–3 hours of starting the route, though exact times vary based on order volume, traffic, and route sequence.
  • We send a Shopify notification labeled "Order ready for delivery" when we begin loading and starting the route—this serves as your heads-up that delivery is in progress (typically between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM ET).
  • We do not offer guaranteed time windows or same-day/hourly scheduling at this time, but we optimize routes to deliver as early as possible.

Delivery Area We currently deliver within the greater Lexington, KY metro area (including surrounding areas we service regularly). If your address is outside our standard delivery zone, we may contact you to discuss options, fees, or availability. Contact us before ordering if you're unsure.

Delivery Process & Instructions

  • We aim for contactless delivery unless otherwise requested: your order will be left at your front door (or specified safe location).
  • Please provide any special delivery instructions (e.g., gate code, porch location, leave with neighbor) at checkout.
  • If no one is home and no instructions are provided, we'll leave the order in a secure, shaded spot when possible.
  • For food safety, please refrigerate your meals immediately upon receipt. Our meals are prepared fresh and meant to be stored at 40°F or below.

What If You're Not Home or Miss Delivery?

  • We cannot guarantee redelivery on the same day due to our weekly preparation schedule and route limits.
  • If we cannot complete delivery (e.g., inaccessible location, no safe drop-off spot), we'll contact you via phone/email and may reschedule for the next available delivery (additional fees could apply).
  • No-shows or failure to provide access/instructions may result in the order being considered delivered, with no refund for missed pick-up.

Changes, Cancellations & Refunds

  • Order changes or cancellations must be requested by Friday at 6:00 PM ET to avoid preparation fees.
  • After the cutoff, changes are not guaranteed and may incur fees (e.g., if ingredients are already purchased).
  • We do not offer refunds for completed/prepared orders except in cases of our error (e.g., wrong meal delivered). Contact us immediately if there's an issue. Delivery fees are non-refundable once the order is prepared and the route has begun.

Food Safety Note Our meals are perishable. We follow safe handling practices to keep them out of the temperature danger zone during preparation and delivery. Upon receipt, store promptly in the refrigerator and consume within the recommended timeframe printed on your packaging.
